Ministerial Groups

Children’s Ministry – they help to nurture and bring up our children in the Lord. They aim to help our children make a quality decision to love, serve and accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. They also teach and instruct them in the basic doctrines of Christianity.

Contact/Membership Ministry – this ministry ensures that new members/visitors are made contact with and assisted in making the right decision of accepting Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. They also teach and instruct new members on basic Christian doctrines and the vision/mission of LCCI.

Counselling Ministry – they ensure that Godly advice is given to all members as and when necessary. They teach, encourage, heal and confront in all aspects of life.

Decorations/Special Occasions Ministry – they ensure that the Church/other meeting venues are properly decorated and ready for use. Also they help members plan for baby dedications, wedding etc. They work very closely with the Ushers Ministry.

Evangelical Ministry – this is the “mouth piece” of the church. They exist to spread the gospel throughout this community and nation. This includes Community Outreach, prison and hospital visitations etc.

Finance Ministry – they are responsible for the finances of the Church. They draw up budgets; look at financial strategies and also advice the Church on investments.

Home Ministries – this is a ministry for the whole church and comprises of small home groups. They are based in your local area. These groups enable you to have Bible Studies and share fellowship with others.

ICT Ministry – this ministry is responsible for all the ICT needs of the Church and Ministry

Intercessory Ministry – this is the ‘power house’ of the church. This group stands in the gap for the church, individual members, the community and the nation.

Media Ministry – they ensure that the book shop has on its stands various Christian Literature; CD’s, preaching CD’s/DVD’s etc. This also includes the TV ministry.

Men’s Ministry – this is for all men in the church. The aim of this ministry is to help strengthen and build men up to fulfil their God-given roles and destinies. Also to help build the character of Jesus Christ, into every man.

Music Ministry – this ministry includes the choir, praise and worship team and instrumentalists. This ministry leads the congregation in worship and into the presence of our Lord. If you would like to learn to play an instrument do let us know.

Personal Development Ministry – this ministry helps and gives advice on Education, jobs etc. to individual members.

Protocol Ministry – this ministry ensures that all visiting ministers and people are well catered for. They are also in charge of refreshments after service for new comers and visitors.

Publicity Ministry - this ministry helps and ensures that all Ministry notices are updated and ready for all meetings. Also prepare and print bulletins, certificates, magazines etc. They are also in-charge of advertising both the Church and its programmes.

Singles Ministry – this ministry exists to help all single men and women in the Church, fulfil their God-given roles and also helps them to lead respectable and fruitful lives.

Technical Ministry – this consists of sound engineers. They make sure that all instruments and equipment are working effectively and efficiently.

Ushering Ministry – they are the “door keepers” of the Church. They make sure that all things are set for services and that there is a level of discipline during worship.

Women’s Ministry – this is for all women in the church. The aim of this ministry is to help women develop and establish themselves in their God-given and ordained ministries.

Youth Ministry – they help to nurture and bring up our youth in the Lord. They aim to help them make quality decision in the Lord. Also to help them affect their schools, colleges, universities, friends and community.
